I asked if my sister wants to go to IKEA and she yelps with joy. She says, she has never eaten their meatball and would like to finally try some.
The poor kid.
As for my mom, I don't know how she ended up coming along. She just hopped onto the car as we were about to leave and she said, let's go.
I like to elaborate a little further about going to IKEA. The place is a happy place to be. Brightly clad in yellow and shoppers friendly, who does not like going to IKEA?
And of course, happy being happy, we just kept stuffing things into our yellow environmental friendly shopping bag. Mom being mom, she picked alot of household items according to her imagination that she will use them.
So I said, sure, go ahead, you are paying for them.
Miraculously, when we approached the cashier, the items were much lesser. 4 mugs became 2 mugs. RM49 dish drainer became RM19 and we only took a lonely cushion instead of 2.
Good job, Mom.
We stopped by at Pak Li for a nice bowl of cendol before heading home to assemble my shelves.

Someone asked me today why do I look so drained.
In total, I assembled 4 shelves. Not mentioning hunting them at the storage warehouse and carrying them around.
I am gonna sleep like a log tonight after a day trip to IKEA.
